Anna Cramling is a Swedish-Spanish professional chess player and content creator. She was a guest on the YouTube podcast The Wild Project , where she discussed her journey in the sport and everything that goes with it.
The renowned chess player discussed why there were so few women among the world's top 100 players and was asked if there was toxicity in chess . "It's quite bad for women," she said of the environment in the sport.
The player shared some experiences she has encountered: "Generally, in tournaments, many people think they are better than women , they feel that women are not at the same level," she commented.

"There are also cases where things happen in tournaments," to which the YouTuber asked if there was any groping of women, to which Anna replied that yes, such things do happen, something that shocked Jordi Wild. " It's something you don't want to talk about much because they're all men, the tournament organizers are also men, it's all pretty much the same system," he explained.
Cramling believes that it is a good opportunity due to her media situation to try to change the world of chess for women: " You think that if you say something, no one will listen to you, but I am one of the few women in chess who has a platform and I feel that it is almost my duty to talk about it so that things change in the world of chess ."
