MEXICO CITY (apro) .- The Attorney General's Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX) reported that agents of the Investigative Police (PDI) arrested Reyna "N", accused of the murder of her father in 2004 in the Iztacalco borough, after remaining a fugitive for two decades.

In a statement, the Mexico City Prosecutor's Office detailed that, according to its investigation, the woman allegedly argued with her father and repeatedly hit him in the head, causing his death. She then placed the body in a plastic bag and buried it in the backyard of the family home.

Reyna "N" later called her siblings to confess what had happened. Upon arriving at the scene, the indirect victims found the body and a note in which the alleged murderer apologized and asked them not to search for her.

Since then, he moved to different states in the country, where he remained until his capture, which was reported by the FGJCMDX on September 4.

After her capture, the woman was admitted to the Women's Social Reintegration Center in Santa Martha Acatitla, awaiting a judge's decision on her legal status.
