This is the appliance that you have at home plugged in all day and uses even more energy than your refrigerator.

With summer coming to an end, school returning to its routine, and the huge expense that summer entails wherever you are, families are now looking to save money in every corner they can in September.
Without a doubt, household expenses are always one of the biggest, and within our homes, electricity consumption is usually one of the highest on the bill at the end of the month.
While it's true that the price of electricity has been somewhat more regulated compared to previous years, and we take into account that more and more devices and electronic appliances have modes or are simply designed to be more efficient and consume less, the expense still exists, and electricity must be paid for.
A very common practice is to unplug those appliances that we don't use much, so that they consume as little as possible, but there is an old forgotten one that many homes have and even if they don't use it every day, it is always connected to our electrical grid.
As the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE) points out, our "enemy" on our electricity bill is the electric oven, since, along with the refrigerator (which we obviously can't unplug), it's the household appliance that consumes the most energy.
An electric oven can consume between 2,000 and 3,000 watts, making it the most energy-consuming among microwaves, pressure cookers, and in many cases (depending on the size) also ceramic or induction cooktops.
For this reason, more and more people are choosing to replace these electric ovens with air fryers, as they not only serve healthier cooking, but also help reduce consumption at home, as they can consume between 800 and 1,500 watts on average.
