Subway and buses: how to pay from your cell phone

Nowadays, paying for subway and bus rides is easier than ever. You no longer need to rely solely on a physical SUBE card; there are multiple options for paying directly from your cell phone.
Phones offer a range of possibilities for easy payment, whether using the digital SUBE card , paying with a QR code , or through contactless cards loaded into wallets such as Google Wallet or Apple Wallet.
Furthermore, given the recent increases, it's important to keep in mind that the different payment options offer benefits : the digital SUBE card offers discounts based on the number of trips, and QR code payments and contactless cards offer different refunds, depending on the bank.
