Mutilated remains left on a state highway in Navolato, Sinaloa

CULIACÁN, Sin. (apro).- In two separate incidents, authorities reported the discovery of human remains on state roads in the municipality of Navolato, in the metropolitan area surrounding the state capital.
The first discovery was reported shortly after 2:00 p.m. at the Cuba field, located in the community of Villa Juárez, on Highway 20, where human remains were found abandoned in a cooler-type container.
In a second incident, three mutilated heads and body parts were found on a bridge, a few meters from the toll booth in the community of San Blas, on the road known as La Costerita.
The discovery was reported at 5:00 p.m. on the overpass leading to the community.
The remains were located in a blue drum and two heavy-duty containers, one of which contained a head and two more on top of the other.
A message was left next to the boxes.
All this happens days after the massacre of 20 people reported in Culiacán on Mexico City International Highway 15, where four bodies were hung from a bridge and another 16 were found inside a van.
