This is the role allegedly played by alias 'El hermano', the fourth person implicated in the attack on Miguel Uribe Turbay.
This Friday, June 20, the Attorney General's Office brought a man to trial who allegedly participated in the planning of the attack on Senator Miguel Uribe Turbay. He is William Fernando González Cruz, alias "El hermano" or "El viejo," who played a key role in the hit on Saturday, June 7, in the Modelia neighborhood, west of Bogotá.
The victim remains in a reserved prognosis at the Fundación Santa Fe clinic in Bogotá, where he was transferred the same day as the attack. The doctors treating him are monitoring his condition, which has been critical due to head wounds sustained from gunshot wounds from a 9-millimeter Glock pistol.
The investigative work of the Prosecutor's Office, in conjunction with the National Police, led to the identification and prosecution of González Cruz.
