The government's defense had argued that the post about Libra had been made from a personal account and was not an institutional act. However, the prosecutor's report contradicts that version and reinforces the plaintiff's position.

"The ruling directly impacts the Libra case," warned Gil Domínguez. After hearing the document, federal judge Alberto Recondo upheld the prosecutor's position and established that the case should be heard in federal court. For the complaining family, this reinforces the idea that Milei's social media posts cannot be separated from his role as head of state.

The legal case arose from a post in which Milei accused young man Ian Moche of being linked to Kirchnerism and described him as someone who "is on the side of evil."
