Montenegro and Weber will be the international voices at the PP congress.

The Prime Minister of Portugal, Luis Montenegro, and the President of the European People's Party, Manfred Weber, will speak tomorrow at the People's Party (PP) congress. They will be the international voices at the conclave aimed at strengthening Alberto Núñez Feijóo's leadership in his bid to reach the Moncloa Palace, and where European leaders have their sights set on the Spanish political scene. The EPP, at the congress held in Valencia, outlined a line of centrality vis-à-vis the European far right. And the Portuguese Prime Minister, who will address the PP delegates, opted for a minority government in Portugal, ruling out a pact with the far-right Chega party. The line defined by the Spanish PP, the second largest force among the European People's Party (PP), is therefore of particular relevance. In this context, Dolors Montserrat, Secretary General of the EPP, is also scheduled to speak. The reports of the parliamentary groups in the European Parliament, the Congress of Deputies, and the Senate will subsequently be presented.

The PP congress begins this afternoon and today's main event will be the debate of the two reports, the political one and the one on the statutes. On this first day, the two former PP Prime Ministers, José María Aznar and Mariano Rajoy, will also speak. The Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, will also host the conclave. The President of the Regional Government, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, will speak on Sunday. And the outgoing Secretary General, Cuca Gamarra, will present the management report.

Feijóo will speak for the first time on Saturday in his candidacy presentation speech.

Feijóo's first address to the plenary session will take place on Saturday afternoon, with a speech introducing his candidacy for party president. He is the only one running. Following his speech, voting will begin, concluding with the announcement of the results and, consequently, applause for the PP leader. A dinner with all the delegates is scheduled for Saturday.

The main focus of Sunday's event will be Feijóo, now proclaimed president of the People's Party (PP), who will outline his plans to become Prime Minister in the upcoming elections.

Beyond the structure of the conference and the political messages of these three days, this afternoon there will be a conversation between Noelia Núñez and tennis coach Toni Nadal.
