Is Gustavo Bolívar breaking with Petro? Trino maintains the controversy between the president and one of his confidants.

Although President Gustavo Petro and the outgoing director of Social Prosperity, Gustavo Bolívar, often displayed closeness, they appear to have been distancing themselves in recent days. A new tweet from Bolívar keeps the controversy alive.
Bolívar recently resigned from his position as director of the DPS to pursue his presidential aspirations.
This Friday, during an event in Tibú, Norte de Santander, Petro broke protocol and, after the director's intervention, said publicly: "I'm breaking the agenda because I don't think it should be like that, Gustavo Bolívar and other comrades." And he added: "Those who resigned, resigned. You can't confuse that. A person who resigns because he has an aspiration leaves, and his replacement comes in and has to come and talk."
This Saturday, Bolívar published a tweet on X that read: "Love must be selfless, or it isn't love." It's worth remembering that in one of the televised Cabinet meetings, Bolívar told the president that he "loved him."
Bolívar's new tweet keeps the controversy alive This Sunday, May 11, Bolívar published a new tweet on the social network X, in which he read: "The best thing is that we give ourselves some time..."
The tweet gave rise to various interpretations by users. The message could give rise to interpretations of a new rift between the two politicians.

Following the criticism over Bolívar's resignation during a public event in Tibú last Friday, May 9, Colombia Humana published an open letter in which it spoke out on the issue.
In the document, they stated that the president's behavior was "somewhat personal and inappropriate." They highlighted Bolívar's track record and asserted that he is "a man of integrity" who has shown "loyalty to the project of change and respect for those who lead it." They also noted that the director of the DPS will not be leaving his post until May 16.
The activists also pointed out that Bolívar was "the right person to announce the economic support measures that will cover older adults," in an investment of 52 billion euros allocated by the government, in addition to the Social Prosperity budget.
