Datexco survey reveals the politicians with the best image in Colombia: Juan Daniel Oviedo, Miguel Uribe Turbay and Juan Manuel Galán lead the way.

The Pulso País study measured public perceptions of national political figures. According to data from the survey conducted by Datexco for W Radio , three names stood out in the most recent results, with a favorable opinion of over 49%.
Juan Daniel Oviedo, former director of the National Action Party (DANE) and former candidate for mayor of Bogotá, leads the list with a favorable rating of 51% , compared to a negative rating of 37%. Miguel Uribe Turbay, current senator for the Democratic Center, is in second place with 51% favorability, followed by Juan Manuel Galán, leader of the New Liberalism party, with 49%.
This survey reveals Colombians' opinions on 32 public figures, including senators, former mayors, former ministers, party leaders, and activists. Pulso País also measures the level of unfavorable image, which allows for significant differences among the various figures.
Who makes the top 10 in popularity? Following the three previously mentioned, there are names with widespread national recognition and popularity in the public sphere. In fourth place is Humberto de la Calle , the peace negotiator and former presidential candidate, who has a positive image of 49% and a negative image of 38%.

Next up is Sergio Fajardo, former mayor of Medellín, who is close behind, with 49% approval rating and 42% negative image.
The list continues with retired General Óscar Naranjo (47% approval rating); former Foreign Minister Luis Gilberto Murillo (47%); Aníbal Gaviria, former governor of Antioquia (44%); Carlos Caicedo, former governor of Magdalena (43%); and Juan Carlos Pinzón, former Minister of Defense (42%).

In the middle of the ranking are politicians who generate divided reactions , such as Senator María José Pizarro (42% in favor and 49% unfavorable), Alejandro Gaviria (40% in favor and 47% unfavorable) and David Luna (40% in favor and 49% unfavorable).
Also worth noting is Senator Jota Pe Hernández, who has a favorable rating of 38% but a negative rating of 51%.
The figures with the most negative rather than positive perceptions appear at the bottom of the list. Senator María Fernanda Cabal, of the Democratic Center, has a favorable image of 29% and a negative image of 64%. And Roy Barreras, the former speaker of Congress, closes the poll with the lowest rating: 2% favorable and 67% unfavorable.

Research objective: Public opinion survey on various current national issues, such as the management and approval of the Government, entities, and personalities.
Population and geographic scope: Men and women over 18 years of age with access to a landline or cell phone with geographic coverage in the Bogotá, Caribbean, Central, Eastern and Pacific regions.
Collection technique: The sample unit selection procedure consisted of system-assisted telephone surveys (CATI), carried out by calling landlines randomly generated using RDD (Random Digit Dialing), and cell phone lines randomly selected from a proprietary database built by Datexco.
Sample size and distribution: A total of 900 effective surveys were conducted, distributed by region.
Sampling design: The type of sample used is a simple random sampling on a telephone sampling frame:
- Frame 1: Fixed telephony (20%) Numbers randomly generated using the RDD (Random Digit Dialing) method, from telephone series.
- Framework 2: Cellular Telephony (80%) Sample randomly drawn from a structured telephone panel constructed using probabilistic criteria by Datexco through in-person contact with households. The selection for this study was simple random.
