'The one with the hat?': Andrea Petro's comment to Lina María Garrido after a fight with Benedetti over harsh remarks about the president.

The daughter of President Gustavo Petro, Andrea Petro , posted a comment on her X account in response to the fight that broke out between Armando Benedetti and Lina María Garrido due to the harsh response that the representative made to the president during the installation of Congress on July 20.
Garrido's speech was undoubtedly the most talked-about since the political event, as, after concluding his speech, the head of state decided to leave the legislative chamber amid shouts and boos.

The confrontation didn't end there, as Garrido shared a message on social media in which he said, "I hit him so hard he had to run away, coward!" The president responded that he's "not used to running away" and accused her of relying "only" on "insults and lies."

It didn't take long for one of the president's daughters, Andrea Petro , to speak out on the issue. However, the economist did not intervene in the discussion between the representative and the president, but rather in the one with the Minister of the Interior, Armando Benedetti.
The official stated that he had filed a criminal complaint against Garrido for "slander and libel." She responded: "Paint them, Minister."

- "Mr. President, I am threatened by the ELN and the FARC dissidents, and if this happens to me, imagine what the peasants, merchants, and ranchers are experiencing—the ones you don't want to see. Kidnapping, extortion, and homicide have doubled, even if you don't want to see it."
- “Today, three years later, there is nothing to show for it, no achievement to show for it. You, President Gustavo Petro, have betrayed Colombia.”

"I voted for you, President... and I was wrong." Photo:
- "The only thing missing was changing his skin color to become black, but he used and exploited Vice President Francia Márquez, whom he betrayed and now despises."
- "I see the painting you have of a child from Palestine in the Casa de Nariño, and we all stand in solidarity with the cause. But I'm going to give you a painting of the children of La Guajira waiting for drinking water, so that when you see it, you'll remember that your government used them while that money was stolen from you."
