"You did lose your visa": War breaks out in Morena of BC

An open war has erupted within the leadership of Morena in Baja California. Tijuana Mayor Montserrat Caballero launched a series of harsh accusations against Governor Marina del Pilar, including a persecution of her and a scathing reference to the revocation of her US visa.
The simmering conflict between the two most powerful figures in Morena 's Baja California coalition has exploded publicly. Tijuana Mayor Montserrat Caballero Ramírez used her social media accounts to launch a frontal attack on the state's governor, Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda , exposing a deep rift within the ruling party.
In a message laden with personal and political accusations, Caballero held nothing back, revealing a "civil war" that calls into question the unity of the movement in the border state.
The most heated point of Caballero's message was the direct reference to the recent suspension of the governor's US visa, a sensitive and highly publicized issue.
"You tried to take my house and paid for it with yours. Your unfounded lawsuits have delayed my residency with my husband. Let me clarify that delaying is not the same as preventing, but you did lose your visa. Your husband tried to destroy my career with his friend and ended up destroying yours, and now he's in hiding." – Montserrat Caballero, Mayor of Tijuana.
In addition to accusations of personal and family persecution, Caballero criticized Ávila Olmeda's administration, accusing her of "bankrupting" the ISSSTECALI and "persecuting" teachers, contrasting these actions with her own administration in Tijuana.
Marina del Pilar's response was not long in coming. Speaking to the media, the governor adopted a conciliatory tone, denying any form of persecution and wishing the mayor well.
"There's nothing bad I can say about her. I wish her peace, tranquility, and happiness. I want to tell her that I'm not persecuting her. I have a lot of things to attend to, and the only thing I can say to her is to wish her much happiness and that she finds peace in her heart and much tranquility," the president declared.
This public clash between "Morena against Morena" reveals the intense internal power struggles within the party. Beyond a simple personal feud, the dispute exposes factions and alliances vying for political control of one of the country's most important states, a battle whose outcome could have significant consequences for the future of the 4T on the northern border.
