Cocaine valued at more than 130 million pesos is seized off the coast of Oaxaca.

MEXICO CITY (apro).- A boat carrying more than half a ton of cocaine, as well as four people, was seized off the coast of Oaxaca by Navy personnel.
Omar García Harfuch, Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, announced that this seizure represents an economic impact on organized crime of more than 130 million pesos.
With this, the secretary reported, more than 45 tons of this drug have been seized during the current administration of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.

Official data published by García Harfuch show that 188 tons of drugs have been seized during Sheinbaum's six-year term; in addition, 1,160 methamphetamine laboratories have been shut down in 21 states.
