The arrival of summer brings, as expected, high temperatures . These can be combated with outdoor activities, where you can cool off and take advantage of the absence of bad weather to organize trips and getaways . However, often this isn't enough to cope with the situation.
Heat has numerous effects on users. Not only physical, such as excessive sweating, dehydration, or discomfort generated by the environment. It also has psychological consequences that can influence our behavior while the heat persists at a high intensity during the hottest months.

This is what some experts are sharing on social media, so that users can learn more about how their own bodies work . This is the case with pharmacist Álvaro Fernández , who, in one of his latest posts on his TikTok account , commented on how heat can make us more easily angry.
Irritating heatThe expert talks about how many individuals tend to feel more irritable simply because the ambient temperature increases . While it may seem like a completely random event, it actually seems to be a phenomenon rooted in science , as he confirms in the video.
@farmaceuticofernandez Can you get angry just because it's hot? Well, it seems there are studies that say yes... #farmaceuticofernandez #health #pharmacist #pharmacy #heat #summer ♬ original sound - Farmaceuticofernandez
“It's been proven that heat increases aggression; one study even links heat to a higher likelihood of armed conflict. (…) It increases sweating and dehydration , we get more tired doing the same thing , and we also sleep worse,” says Álvaro Fernández on this matter.
In this sense, it points to the release of cortisol derived from this increase in fatigue. This hormone is responsible for managing stress . This is why the increase in temperature causes a more aggressive reaction to everyday stimuli, especially those that are more bothersome or difficult to deal with.
