This is the new platform for learning about contracting processes that will make it easier for organizations to become suppliers of goods and services in Cali.

More than 60 businessmen and women from the technology sector participated in the launch of the Cali mayor's office's "So you can see and do business!" strategy.
This platform was created as a space to socialize contracting processes, making it easier for organizations in the region to become suppliers of goods and services to the district. This platform can be accessed through the link: https://paqueveas.cali.gov.co/MonitoreoCiudadano.

"On this occasion, we shared three processes that are part of 'Invest to Grow.' Through them, we seek to transform the Mayor's Office for the benefit of its citizens, to improve all services that impact the people of Cali," Mondragón explained.
"We are looking for services such as the modernization and transformation of technological infrastructure; the development of information systems for contract management; and also the oversight of these technological infrastructure processes," the official added.

One of the three processes is the modernization of the Cali mayor's office's technological platforms and digital security. It includes new servers, storage and cloud services, optimization and development of new digital solutions for citizens, and cybersecurity.
Likewise, the goal is to make procedures for citizens faster and more secure, with an investment of more than 15.6 billion pesos.
The second is the update of contractor management platforms, costing more than 260 million pesos.
The third and final process, with over 800 million pesos, is the oversight of this technological infrastructure transformation.
Among the required services are cybersecurity, platform modernization, data migration, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The initiative is the result of collaborative efforts between the Transparency Advisory Office, the Administrative Department of Public Procurement (DACP), and the District Secretariat of Economic Development, with the goal of boosting the local economy and strengthening business participation in city projects.
"We want more companies from Cali and Valle del Cauca to become our suppliers and help us recover Cali. That's why we share tools like the 'Interactive Purchasing Plan' on the 'Pa' que veás!' monitor and provide advice so they can compete successfully," said María Alejandra Pedraza, head of the Cali Transparency Advisory Office.
What do business people say? María Alejandra Arias, Deputy Director of Knowledge Management and Innovation at DACP, invited entrepreneurs to take advantage of the support opportunities.
"We want them to know the requirements, deadlines, and documents needed to participate in bidding processes. Additionally, through the 'Interactive Procurement Plan,' they can identify future opportunities and apply early. If our companies grow, Cali grows," he emphasized.
Attendees highlighted the usefulness of the event and the tools offered.
Jesús Sánchez, Open's vice president of marketing, said: "These are the spaces that unite the business sector, unions, and government to transform Cali into a technological hub ; they also guarantee transparency in the processes."
According to William Rojas of Integra Technologies, it was “a very interactive event, and the 'Pa' que ves!' platform was excellent, making it easy to understand the processes without having to log into Secop.”
According to Sandra Valencia of IP Services and Solutions: "They gave us the tools to participate in contracting processes; it's an opportunity we should take advantage of."
María del Mar Bolaños, Kinitech coordinator, shared: “'Pa' que vás!' encourages small businesses to participate and contributes to the technological growth of Cali.”
