Oikos and Minutocorp will invest $120 billion in a specialized warehouse business park for SMEs, located in Malambo.

Oikos Constructora, a Colombian real estate company, and Minutocorp, an Ecuadorian logistics and industrial development firm, are arriving in Malambo (Atlántico), where they will develop a project aimed at the country's small and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) sector. They will offer a complex of 170 warehouses ranging from 90 to 150 square meters.
They will invest 120 billion pesos in a 24,000-square-meter construction area 45 minutes from the department's capital, Barranquilla , where the 170 modular warehouses will be located.
The two companies have been partnering since this year, which has led to the launch of Almax Colombia with the project to be built in Malambo, explained Luis Aurelio Díaz, president of Grupo Oikos.
This is the Almax Oikos real estate project, which will also be located near Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport and in a Caribbean area characterized by its business growth, with optimized access, complementary services, 24/7 security, and spaces that promote productivity, according to the project's developers.
“At the Oikos Group, we celebrate this fusion of knowledge and capabilities that has allowed us to bring the renowned Almax brand, specializing in warehouses and office storage, to Colombia,” stated the company's president, who emphasized that this consolidates a shared vision: to transform the way companies think about their logistics infrastructure, integrating intelligent design, operational efficiency, and brand support .
Although sales of these business spaces have already begun, the directors of Oikos Constructora, part of the Oikos Business Group, and Minutocorp indicated that construction is projected to begin in the second half of next year.
They added that once construction begins, more than 450 direct jobs will be created, along with a similar number of indirect jobs during the construction and operation phases.

With more than 60 hectares of land under development in Ecuador and a proven portfolio of business parks, such as Almax 2, Almax 3, Icon, Almax Center, and Almax Plus, the Ecuadorian brand has revolutionized the logistics landscape in Samborondón and Guayaquil.
Today, that experience crosses borders to integrate with the strength of Oikos Constructora, a company with more than 45 years of experience building the future for Colombians, more than 15 years of continuous presence in the Caribbean region, and recognized as the fastest-growing construction company in the country in the last year.
According to its directives, companies are expected to continue joining this ecosystem designed for growth, efficiency, and competitiveness, where, on equal terms, companies of all sizes and sectors are already investing in an innovative logistics operation alternative.
