In the heart of southern Brazil, specifically in the lively and exclusive coastal city of Balneário Camboriú , the world's tallest residential building is under construction. Torre Senna will rise 550 meters, with 154 floors and 228 luxury apartments, in what is known as the Dubai of Brazil . The building's name is a tribute to Formula 1 champion Ayrton Senna and aims to combine design and technology.
Although they also offer exorbitant prices, as such an exclusive location demands. From five million euros to more than 300 million for the penthouses, these are some of the prices being handled by Sotheby's , the famous British auction house . The project has been agreed to begin at the end of this year and be completed by 2033, and it promises to be a success, with 20% of the apartments already sold before completion.
The Senna Tower promises to compete directly with architectural giants like New York's Central Park Tower (which currently holds the title of tallest residential building in the world at 472 meters). It will also compete with Dubai 's Marina 101, which reaches 425 meters. The Brazilian tower not only aims to surpass them in height, but also in technology. A Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) system will be installed : a tuned mass damper that reduces vibrations caused by wind, ensuring maximum stability and comfort even on the highest floors, where the building's sway is most noticeable.
The complex (with an estimated investment of three billion Brazilian reals, or more than $525 million ) will also include swimming pools, spas, tennis courts, gyms, restaurants, and a public area with shops. To top it all off, an observatory will be located at the top of the tower, offering views of Balneário Camboriú and its surrounding coastline. Interestingly , the tower aims to obtain the prestigious LEED Platinum certification (the highest recognition in energy efficiency and environmental sustainability), becoming the first skyscraper of its height in the world to achieve this standard thanks to its designs and construction techniques.

It doesn't end there. In addition to the standard apartments, there will be 18 " suspended palaces ," luxury units ranging from 420 to 563 square meters, for those looking for a combination of space and privacy. However, the four 600-square-meter duplex rooftops are the stars of the show . This doesn't include the two triple mega-rooftops, which will have a whopping 903 square meters.
The two stars of the event will be the two triple mega-rooftops, which will have no less than 903 square meters.
Behind the project are two of the most influential families in the country: the Senna family (the personal touch of the work is provided by Lalalli Senna , artist and granddaughter of the pilot, involved in the design of the building) and the Graciolas, owners of the construction giant FG Emprendimientos, a company with more than 40 years of experience that has developed a flexible and accessible financing system that allows payments in installments of more than 120 installments . Jean Graciola, CEO and co-founder of the giant, highlights the company's philosophy of selling almost all units before delivery of the keys.
