Two injured in a chicken farm fire in Motilla del Palancar (Cuenca)

Two men aged 40 and 44 were injured after a fire broke out this Thursday at a poultry farm located in Motilla del Palancar ( Cuenca ), a fire that has already been extinguished by the fire services .

The fire started around 3:39 p.m. and was completely extinguished at 8:10 p.m. by firefighters from the Motilla del Palancar fire station, according to sources from the Castilla-La Mancha 112 emergency service confirmed to EFE.

As a result of the fire, both men suffered injuries , although 112 has not specified whether they were burns, other injuries or smoke inhalation poisoning .

The 40-year-old man was evacuated in a mobile intensive care unit to the Motilla del Palancar health center , while the 44-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Virgen de la Luz Hospital in Cuenca. Civil Guard officers were also dispatched to the scene, according to 112.
