The Venice hotel where Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are staying before their wedding

Venice is gearing up for one of the most luxurious weddings of all time: that of billionaire Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon and one of the richest men in the world , and his fiancée, TV presenter Lauren Sánchez. Despite the usual secrecy surrounding these events, details are slowly emerging about the wedding, which is expected to take place between June 26 and 28 in the Italian city. The bride and groom have already arrived and, as expected, are staying at one of the most luxurious hotels: the Aman Venice .
The couple was seen aboard a boat that took them to the hotel, which has set up tents at the main entrance to preserve the privacy of its guests. According to various media reports, the couple traveled on the millionaire's superyacht, the Koru , valued at over €500 million, to the vicinity of the Italian city. Afterward, Bezos and Sánchez waved from the tent the hotel has set up at the entrance.

Located in one of the city's eight monumental palaces on the Grand Canal ( the 16th-century Palazzo Papadopoli ), just steps from St. Mark's Square, the Aman Venice hotel is the epitome of elegance and luxury. Its interior combines Rococo artwork with contemporary interior design by Jean-Michel Gathy. Also noteworthy are its private gardens , a rarity in the floating city.

In the rooms and suites, almost all overlooking the Grand Canal , you can admire frescoes and reliefs by Italian artists such as the 16th-century architect Sansovino and the 18th-century painter Tiepolo. Contemporary furnishings coexist with chandeliers, wood paneling, fireplaces, and painted ceilings. Rooms are available in a variety of categories, from rooms to apartments and suites. Rooms, measuring 43 to 51 square meters, start at 2,700 euros, while suites are priced between 6,000 and 7,000 euros per night.

Within the hotel itself, there are several dining options where Jeff Bezos and his guests are likely to enjoy lunch and dinner: Arva, a tribute to Italy's rich culinary heritage with a sustainable focus; The Bar, where you can enjoy custom cocktails; and The Palazzo Kitchen Table, an exclusive space offering private dining experiences, cooking classes, and market tours with the chef.

The luxurious hotel also features a spa with three treatment rooms, thermal baths with medicinal waters from Salsomaggiore Terme, and a gym with city views. Among the beauty and relaxation rituals, cryotherapy stands out, as well as treatments from its own beauty brand, Aman Skincare.

Among the experiences Aman Venice offers guests, in addition to private city tours, is the creation of a personalized perfume , guided by one of Venice's master perfumers.
