The Miura bulls close with the fastest running of the bulls of the Sanfermines 2025
The final running of the bulls of the San Fermin 2025 festival features the eagerly awaited Miura bulls, who delivered the fastest run of the eight held during these nine days of festivities in Pamplona. The last of the bulls entered the ring in 2.16 minutes , after a clean run that left only three injured, two of whom were taken to the University Hospital, according to the initial Red Cross report.
The herd started very compactly from the Corrales del Gas and stretched out as it advanced through Mercaderes. This, along with the reduced tourist traffic in the streets of the Navarrese capital, allowed for very long runs by the youngsters, who were able to take advantage of the gaps between the steers and the bulls on this eighth day.
There were no pile-ups, although there were some falls. Nor were the bulls defeated. There were excited faces among many of the participants, who saw the Sanfermines come to an end and will have to wait until July 7th to run again. That day lies ahead, until the "poor me" is sung at night.
In the latest medical reports issued after each bull run, unlike yesterday, no injuries were reported from the bull's horns . Only three were reported injured. One of them was treated in the bullring's infirmary with a bruise on his arm. The other two were taken to Pamplona University Hospital with bruises to the head and spine.
