Israel announces it will enter the Gaza Strip 'with all its forces': 'We're going all out,' Netanyahu warns.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that his army will enter the Gaza Strip "with full force" in the coming days.
"In the coming days, we will go with all our strength to complete the operation . Completing the operation means defeating Hamas, destroying Hamas," the Palestinian movement that rules the Strip, Netanyahu said, according to a statement from his office.
There won't be a situation where we can stop the war. There might be a temporary truce, but we're going all out.

"There will be no situation in which we can stop the war. There could be a temporary truce, but we're going all out," the official emphasized.
The statements are causing enormous concern due to fears of what would be an incursion by the Israeli army "with all its forces" into the Palestinian enclave, which has been ravaged since October 2023 by a violent offensive that has left more than 53,000 dead on the Gaza side, most of them civilians.

In fact, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that half a million Gazans are on the brink of starvation due to Israel's "deliberate blockade" of humanitarian aid to Gaza, where 57 children have died of malnutrition since the measure was imposed in early March.
"Half a million people are facing catastrophic hunger, acute malnutrition, disease, and death," said WHO representative Rik Peeperkorn, via video link from Gaza, who is on one of his frequent missions to Gaza.
He predicted that if this situation persists, some 71,000 children under the age of five will suffer from acute malnutrition in the next eleven months.

The WHO chief for Gaza explained that deaths from hunger are often not caused directly by a lack of food, but by illnesses that are not fatal under normal circumstances (such as gastroenteritis or pneumonia), but which in a completely weakened body can cause death.

"The population in Gaza is trapped in a terrible cycle of malnutrition and disease that feed off each other," he said, while healthcare is out of reach for almost everyone, vaccinations have fallen, and access to clean water and basic sanitation is extremely limited.

In addition to the claims of a new Israeli incursion, the prime minister stated that his government is working to find countries willing to accept Palestinians who leave the Gaza Strip.
"We have established an administration that will allow them to leave, but (...) we need countries willing to welcome them. That's what we're working on," Netanyahu said during a meeting with reserve soldiers on Monday.

"If we offer them the opportunity to leave, more than 50% will leave, and I think many more ," he added, according to a statement from his office.
On Tuesday, an Israeli army attack killed two Palestinians, one of them journalist Hassan Aslih , in an early morning attack on Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, in southern Gaza, confirmed the director of the unit that keeps count of the victims of the Israeli offensive at the Ministry of Health of the enclave, Zaher Al Waheidi.
