Iran fires missiles at US military bases in Iraq and Qatar

Following Iran 's attack on US military bases in Doha , Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed al-Ansari said the attack on Al-Udeid was a “ violation of Qatar's sovereignty and airspace and the UN Charter .”
He also stated that the Qatari government will reserve its right to respond directly to the blatant aggression, in accordance with international law, asserting that Qatari air defenses thwarted the attack and successfully confronted the Iranian missiles.
Faced with this situation, Qatari authorities decided to close their airspace to control potential additional threats.
For its part, the Iranian Navy has strategically blocked the sea routes into the country, while US submarines continue to closely monitor any movement in the area.
