CONADE is considering cutting Osmar Olvera's salary for overearning.

Wet Office.- Given the recent success of diver Osmar Olvera at the 2025 World Swimming Championships in Singapore, CONADE is reportedly considering cutting his financial support for exceeding his athletic performance and "breaking budgetary harmony."
Olvera, who has already won four medals in the tournament, has been labeled by other athletes (especially soccer players) as "a threat to the balance of national sport," which is why pressure is already being put on the government agency to withdraw his scholarships, travel expenses, support, and other benefits.

"We're used to supporting athletes who do the bare minimum: qualify for the Central American Games, say they 'did their best,' cry at the airport, and that's it; but this kid is making everyone look bad," exclaimed an official who has a niece in gymnastics.
According to reports, CONADE has invested more in a skater's TikTok show than in Olvera's training, hence the annoyance with the results the diver is achieving.
🇲🇽🥇🗣️ “One thing I would definitely ask is for Ma Jin to stay here, to raise her salary so she stays with us,” Osmar Olvera asks President Claudia Sheinbaum for financial support to keep his coach.

Possible disciplinary measures would include taking away his scholarship "because he no longer needs it, because he's already won medals," banning him from the CONADE pool, and sending him to Exatlón to get him down to par.
“I just wanted to coach. I didn't know winning would cause them so much emotional distress,” Osmar said after seeing the football community really upset with him.
And just in case you missed it: a group of influencers formed a union to demand that they be “taken seriously.”Important: Remember that El Deforma is a site for entertainment, humor, and satire.
