A truck driver was seriously injured after an accident on the M-503 in Majadahonda (Madrid).

A 67-year-old man was injured after an incident involving the truck he was driving on the M-503 highway near Majadahonda. The vehicle left the road and collided with the concrete barrier, coming to rest partially overturned in the median strip dividing the road.

The accident occurred around 9:45 a.m. at kilometer 11 of the aforementioned highway , heading toward Madrid. This incident caused a significant traffic jam in the area , as traffic was limited to a single lane due to the intervention of the Civil Guard , which is in charge of the investigation.

SUMMA 112 personnel and the Pozuelo de Alarcón Emergency Service (SEAPA) responded to the scene to assist the driver, who suffered chest trauma and a lumbar contusion. He was later transferred to Puerta de Hierro Hospital in potentially serious condition.

Members of the Madrid Community Fire Department responded to stabilize the dump truck and prevent it from overturning completely, as well as to control the fuel spill, according to health sources.
