'Fourteen days later, you're running?': Mud is thrown and the mayor of Álamo, Veracruz, is ousted.

The mayor of Álamo, Veracruz, Blanca Lilia Arrieta Pardo, was greeted by people affected by the rains and floods with shouts and mud.
The councilor appeared before those affected 14 days after the rains and remnants of tropical storms Raymond and Priscilla.
“Fourteen days later, you show up?” one resident criticized, complaining that he never showed up during the most critical days of the natural disaster emergency.
Out of anger, residents of the Pantepec neighborhood (where the video was recorded) threw mud and demanded that no one speak to the mayor.
At which point, Arrieta Pardo walked away across a pedestrian bridge, while the residents threw more mud at him and shouted at him to leave.
The Pantepec neighborhood is one of the areas most affected by the heavy rains.
76 PEOPLE DIED
As a result of the flooding, the Mexican government reported that the death toll from the flooding and heavy rains that affected Veracruz, Puebla, Hidalgo, Querétaro, and San Luis Potosí has risen to 76.
At the moment, 39 people have been reported missing.
