First erotic cruise: What travelers can expect on the Killing Kittens Cruise

Whether spiritual, party-loving, or queer and colorful: themed cruises are booming and have long since catered to more than just classic vacation needs like relaxation and good food. British tour operator Killing Kittens, known for its exclusive, female-centric erotic events from the London party scene, is now entering this growing niche.
The company will set sail for the first time in 2026. From June 9 to 16, the so-called KK Cruise invites guests on a seven-day luxury voyage across the Mediterranean. What happens on this cruise only has the setting in common with traditional cruises, and participation is restricted to certain groups. Strict rules also apply.
The ship, operated by luxury cruise operator Azamara, departs from Barcelona and heads to Mallorca via Monte Carlo, Florence, and Portofino. The KK Cruise focuses on "Mediterranean luxury," "hedonism with attitude," and "empowerment": Hedonism is a philosophy of life in which pleasure, enjoyment, and joy are considered the highest goals.
And even though eroticism is part of the trip, the KK Cruise isn't just a swinger or sex event. Rather, it's about personal development, pleasure on all levels, and authentic encounters in a safe, respectful environment.
Killing Kittens founder Emma Sayle describes it this way in her blog post about the cruise: "This isn't about sex, as many might expect—it's about something much deeper." It's about creating spaces where people can discover themselves, connect, and ultimately feel free. "Sex is just a byproduct of the freedom we create," Sayle says.
During the day, the cruise offers a varied program:
- Wellness and fitness: Yoga on deck, swimming pool, spa, meditation and mindfulness offerings
- Workshops: Lectures and courses on eroticism, relationships, communication and body awareness
- Culinary: Seven restaurants and seven bars and lounges, cocktail courses, wine tastings
- Leisure: Excursions ashore, yacht experiences, sunsets with cocktails on the balcony
In the evening the ship transforms into an event venue for:
- Theme nights and erotic parties – inspired by the club scene, but exclusive and regulated
- Play areas where sexual encounters can take place – if all parties agree
The organizers emphasize that the safety of travelers is the top priority throughout the cruise.
The cruise is intended to be a safe space – with clear rules: Only couples, single women, and trans and non-binary people are permitted. Single men traveling alone are not permitted, according to the FAQ .
At the start of the cruise, health screenings will be conducted on all passengers and crew members to ensure the well-being of everyone on board.
Play areas, quiet zones, and nude areas are clearly marked. For maximum privacy, mobile phones and cameras are prohibited in designated areas.

The behavior of travelers is also clearly regulated: “Respect the privacy and personal space of your fellow travelers and refrain from intrusive or inappropriate behavior.”
A professional security team on board will ensure that the rules are adhered to.
