The FC Bayern women's team had already secured the championship title with a 3-1 win over SC Freiburg on Matchday 20. The Munich women's team will be lifting the title trophy for the third time in a row. As the German Football Association announced on Thursday, national coach Christian Wück will present the championship trophy on Sunday at the FC Bayern Campus.
In addition to Wück, DFB Vice President Sabine Mammitzsch will also be part of the delegation that will hand over the championship trophy to the FC Bayern players during the last Bundesliga match of the season between the Munich team and SGS Essen (2 p.m.).
Bayern, who in addition to the league title recently also won the DFB Cup with a 4-2 win against SV Werder Bremen , are also saying goodbye to coach Alexander Straus .
2nd place: Wolfsburg or Frankfurt?While nothing is at stake for FCB, or even Essen, things are still exciting with a view to second place on Sunday.
