Northern Irish football fans taunt demonstrators on the sidelines of a pro-Palestine demonstration in Cologne, where the World Cup qualifying match between Germany and Northern Ireland will take place on Sunday evening.
In the short clip, which is currently going viral online, the Northern Irish literally sing: “You can stick Palestine up your ass.”
In Northern Ireland itself, sympathies regarding the Middle East conflict are divided. While conservative nationalists often argue in favor of the Gaza Strip, loyalists and unionists tend to side with Israel.
