Luis Diaz's transfer to FC Bayern complete

FC Bayern has officially announced the signing of Luis Diaz. The Colombian joins from Liverpool for a hefty fee of up to €75 million.
Luis Diaz is officially a player for FC Bayern Munich, the club announced on Wednesday morning. The Colombian winger signed a contract with Munich until June 30, 2029. With a fixed fee of €67.5 million, the Liverpool striker becomes the third-most expensive transfer in the club's history. Only Harry Kane (€95 million) and Lucas Hernández (€80) cost more than the man who once captivated Jürgen Klopp at Liverpool.
Eberl: "Fans can look forward to an exceptional player""With Luis Díaz, we have succeeded in signing one of the best left wingers in the Premier League. A true player comes from Liverpool FC to Bayern Munich – he has won titles with each of his clubs," CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen was quoted as saying in a press release. Max Eberl expressed similar sentiments, emphasizing that Diaz will be able to help the team immediately and promising: "Our fans can look forward to an exceptional player."
41 goals in 148 games for Liverpool convinced the Munich bosses to pay bonuses of up to 75 million euros for the Colombian. Also important is the fact that the seemingly indestructible fighter seems perfectly suited to coach Vincent Kompany's pressing style and, in addition to his preferred position on the left wing, can also play in the center of attack as Harry Kane's backup.
During the mandatory medical examination at the Barmherzige Brüder Hospital, Diaz first met his new teammates, who began their preparations with internal medical tests at the clinic.
Diaz gets this number at FC BayernDiaz will wear the number 14 for FC Bayern. His favorite number, 7, which he also wore at Liverpool, has been given to Serge Gnabry at his new employer.
