BVB follows suit - Chukwuemeka and Anselmino approaching

Borussia Dortmund is getting the much-needed reinforcement: two of its desired players are coming from Chelsea FC.
Borussia Dortmund is close to a double transfer. BVB now wants to permanently sign Carney Chukwuemeka, who was on loan last season, and also loan his teammate Aaron Anselmino from Chelsea.
A transfer fee of 25 million euros is being discussedThe duo weren't in Dortmund on Sunday afternoon, but are expected to undergo medical tests shortly. According to TV broadcaster Sky, the deal is expected to cost BVB €25 million.
Chukwuemeka (21) impressed in 17 competitive matches (one goal) for BVB in the second half of last season as a loan player in central midfield. He also played for Dortmund in the Club World Cup. The club's management has been keen to secure his return from the start.
Anselmino - reinforcement for the central defenseAnselmino (20) is expected to alleviate BVB's major injury concerns in defense as a central defender. The Argentinian joined from Boca Juniors in 2024 for €16.5 million, who immediately loaned him back.
He returned to Chelsea in the second half of last season, but played a limited role due to a long injury layoff. According to media reports, BVB will not be given a purchase option.
