In addition to its flowing Spanish language skills, Mr. Ahlenius has a deep understanding of the Spanish regulatory environment and has successfully worked with government authorities at various levels. Due to his proven track record and leadership qualities, he is ideally suited to Eurobattery Minerals' strategic goals and sustainability ambitions for the San Juan project. The company has hired Agne Ahlenius, a top mining manager with over 35 years of international experience in mine development and Mining company, to manage the San Juan Project. Its proven track record in underground and open-pit mining and its outstanding reputation as a leading expert in sustainable mining will be will be crucial to the success of the San Juan tungsten mine. Mr. Ahlenius has held top positions in leading Spanish and international mining companies, including positions such as Mine Manager at Boliden AB, Operations Manager for MATSA in Spain and CEO at Lundin Mining for Zinkgruvan Mining AB in Sweden. He holds a Master of Science in Mining Engineering from Luleå University of Technology, Sweden. Most recently, Mr. Ahlenius was COO and later CEO of the Barruecopardo mine in Spain, a benchmark for responsible and sustainable mining practices within the EU. The project was carried out in Salamanca with the Awarded the "SME of the Year 2024" prize, a recognition for its economic contribution, its sustainability and its export orientation. Under the leadership of Mr. Ahlenius, the Barruecopardo mine achieved following milestones: * Achieving the highest environmental and safety standards in accordance with EU directives. * Implementation of clean technologies (e.g. environmentally friendly Ore separation and closed water cycles). * Improvement of mine operations, cost reduction by over 25%. * For more than two years, no work-related accidents involving Loss of work recorded. * Contribution to the revitalization of the region and to community initiatives ,creation of over 200 jobs (80% on-site) and awarding national awards for sustainability and economic Effects. Mr. Ahlenius brings a unique blend of Nordic precision and Iberian insight. The Swedish citizen has lived and worked over 25 years in Spain and is deeply involved in the mining sector, the legal framework conditions and the local culture of the country. He speaks fluent in Spanish (and speaks three other languages) and has extensive experience in working with the Spanish administration at all levels - national, regional (autonomous communities) and local - and has extensive knowledge of administrative procedures related to mining projects. This gives him the perfect starting position to San Juan project in line with Swedish and Spanish values - Security, transparency, social responsibility and long-term thinking - to lead. Preparatory work on the San Juan tungsten project is expected to begin in July 2025 production is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026. Eurobattery Minerals recently completed a rights issue of 78.5 million SEK to acquire the majority stake in the project finance and its battery mineral assets in Finland to develop further. The company has also signed a letter of intent for a purchase agreement signed with Wolfram Bergbau und Hütten AG, the Austrian Tungsten producers owned by the Swedish Sandvik Group, which underlines the strategic European orientation of the project.
