Ever since her role as Rachel Green in the hit series "Friends," Jennifer Aniston has been considered a style icon. Not only her looks, but especially her hairstyles continue to serve as inspiration to this day. It's not without reason that her layered cut from the series has been given its own name. Now Jennifer Aniston is bringing back the "Rachel Cut."

Blonde, highlighted, and layered – this is how we know the always perfectly styled hair of Rachel Green, played by Jennifer Aniston, from the cult series "Friends." In general, the looks and hairstyles of the 90s regularly make a comeback and are given a modern interpretation.

Jennifer Aniston brings back the popular "Rachel Cut" with a slight modification

The original haircut thrives on its striking layers, striking highlights, and clearly visible styling. The layers run through the back of the head and the top layer and are rounded off by the highlighted front strands that fall concavely towards the face. Nothing was left to chance, and that's precisely what caught the public's attention. Despite its structure, the popular layered cut appears soft thanks to its frayed edges and flatters almost every face shape. Now the 56-year-old is bringing back the cult hairstyle and sporting a modern version of the haircut: the "Soft Rachel Cut."

How do you style the "Soft Rachel Cut"?

With the "Soft Rachel Cut," the ends of the hair are gently curled. This style also thrives on dynamism, layers, and volume—which is why it requires some styling and can't just be air-dried. For the perfect look, apply styling cream to towel-dried hair and distribute it evenly. Then blow-dry the hair with a round brush, gently curling the ends inward. For bangs, a curler provides additional bounce and hold. Curling the ends can also be achieved very well with a flat iron, but this will reduce some of the desired volume. When it comes to hair texture, thick hair can tolerate more layers, while fine or thin hair can quickly appear thinned out by excessive layering. Fewer layers are often sufficient to create volume.
