Three more health insurance companies participate in girls' consultation hours in Saxony

Dresden. Starting in October, three additional company health insurance funds will participate in the selective contract for girls' consultations with gynecologists. These are BKK Deutsche Bank AG, BKK DürkoppAdler, and Pronova BKK, according to the Saxony Health Insurance Association (KV Sachsen) in Dresden. This brings the total number of company health insurance funds participating in the M1 program to 52.

The girls' consultation offers young girls a low-threshold, unbiased initial contact for gynecological advice. Gynecologists can participate as medical practitioners, and girls between the ages of 12 and 17 can participate as patients.

The girls' consultation includes a detailed and confidential discussion with a gynecologist. Girls can also ask questions about their cycle, menstruation, and sex. A preliminary physical examination is also provided, if the patient wishes. (sve)
