"Fuck Jews" was written in red paint on the shop window of the The pharmacy was targeted. The attack by the as-yet-unknown perpetrators was apparently not directed at the pharmacy itself, as graffiti was also found on the surrounding walls and in the street. Slogans such as "Free Gaza" and "Fuck LGBTQ" were also visible.
According to police, a total of ten criminal complaints have been filed. Pharmacist Sliman Dirki, owner of the Golden Anchor Pharmacy, has also filed a complaint but declined to comment further on the incident at this time.
The PZ spoke with the pharmacist on duty at the scene. She could only report that the graffiti had been removed immediately the next day and that nothing further was known about the reasons behind it.
The pharmacy team has experienced violence on several occasions, as the pharmacist reports. A few years ago, there was a veritable series of robberies in the neighborhood – young perpetrators stole money and then sprayed pepper spray in the pharmacy anyway. The irritating substance continued to affect the team for days afterward.
And the pharmacist herself claims to have been hit by a firework rocket last Friday – Halloween – while cycling down Lenaustraße, where the pharmacy is located. "Luckily, I was going too fast and wasn't hit."

A local resident told the PZ that the neighborhood between Sonnenallee, Kottbusser Damm, and Maybachufer has been becoming increasingly rough for years. The aggression is directed against the queer community, foreigners, and Jews. She has even seen swastika graffiti. She knows Jews who don't identify themselves out of fear. And she also witnessed the celebrations of Hamas's attack on Israel in the streets of Neukölln on October 7, 2023. Two years ago, these demonstrations even made international headlines.
