Advanced melanoma: When to stop the checkpoint inhibitor?
According to a meta-analysis, discontinuation of immune checkpoint blockade in patients with advanced melanoma appears to be possible after at least one year of treatment without a high risk of recurrence. However, the chances of sustained response decreased when treatment was discontinued due to toxicity.
