ADHD medications prevent accidents – but not as well as before
When people with ADHD take their medication, they are less likely to be involved in accidents and commit fewer criminal acts. However, this protective effect has recently declined significantly. The reason appears to be the expansion of medication to include those with less severe symptoms.
