Leisure: Camping is booming – and yet motorhome manufacturers have a problem

Reading time: 3 min.

It sounds crazy, perhaps as crazy as hoping to camp in Scotland without it raining every now and then: Camping holidays continue to boom, but German motorhome manufacturers are in crisis. Many factories have implemented short-time work ; last year, one-sixth fewer motorhomes and caravans were produced, and the industry expects a further loss for the current year.
