Heating: Many owners, one heat pump

Reading time: 5 min.
|Multiple owners in one house having to choose between gas heating and a heat pump—that's bound to go wrong, right? No, as an example from Amberg shows.
It can get on your nerves when it comes to your own home. A huge construction site in the yard, the old windows in the apartment out – that's how Johanna Matzulla imagined it would look if the apartment building she lives in got a heat pump . "That gave me a brief meltdown," she says. But the windows are staying in, and that's one of the reasons why she and her husband Armin are now relaxing in their living room. The Matzullas are retired and have lived in their condominium in a quiet residential area in the small town of Amberg in Upper Palatinate for 16 years. Armin Matzulla says: "It's good that the heating issue is now resolved."
