Fund selection and distribution: Ingo Kürpick goes into business for himself

According to his own statements, Ingo Kürpick is launching his own business with two business models: Firstly, Kürpick intends to offer fund selection, asset allocation in the multi-asset sector, and portfolio management for wealthy private clients. Secondly, he intends to add business development for fund boutiques in the future.
Fund selection and business development on the agenda"After extensive and intensive consideration, I have decided to pursue self-employment. I have come to appreciate the freedom and flexibility that come with it, and in the future I would like to combine my two passions: selecting funds and locating high-end investment boutiques," Kürpick explains about his plan.
Kürpick was most recently Managing Director of the Growth and Value Financial Portfolio fund asset management company, which he left in the fall of last year . Now, in close partnership with the Landshut-based financial services provider Kajetan Deil Finanzprojekte, Kürpick plans to contribute his experience in investment consulting and expand his range of services to include financial and asset planning. In the medium to long term, Kürpick does not rule out taking over the company and continuing to run it independently.
In addition, Kürpick plans to focus on business development for fund boutiques with Opesio in the future. With his business partner Christoph Endter, who built up wholesale sales at Vates Invest as a founding partner and sold his shares in the company in February 2025, Kürpick aims to help fund boutiques, young asset managers, and fund initiators achieve greater growth, visibility, and strengthen their own brands.
"At Opesio, we primarily want to identify alpha strategies from specialized fund boutiques that deliver added value to portfolios. We want to focus on quality over quantity and will only build our product ranges in a complementary way," explains Kürpick.
Kürpick and Endter say they want to use their contacts with semi-institutional and institutional investors to open doors for the boutiques and actively promote the companies. The duo has entered into their first collaboration with the Munich-based fund boutique Köhn und Kerkhoff.
