Change in the Board of Directors: Kreissparkasse Reutlingen with new Head of Private Banking

Kreissparkasse Reutlingen is restructuring its management team. This also affects private banking. CEO Michael Bläsius will retire at the turn of the year after more than 20 years on the Sparkasse's board. Bläsius worked for the Sparkasse financial group for 46 years, more than 40 of which were spent at Kreissparkasse Reutlingen.
Kreissparkasse Reutlingen reduces management teamAt the turn of the year, Kreissparkasse Reutlingen is reducing its management team from the current three to two. Joachim Deichmann will succeed Bläsius. Martin Bosch will become Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.
Joachim Deichmann succeeds Michael BläsiusDeichmann joined Kreissparkasse Reutlingen around 30 years ago as a trainee in the proprietary investments/proprietary trading department. He was subsequently promoted to deputy head of the department and personal assistant to the CEO. Deichmann has been a deputy member of the board since 2003 and a member of the board since March 2014.
Martin Bosch becomes Deputy Chairman of the Board of ManagementBosch has been with Kreissparkasse Reutlingen for more than 27 years, more than eight of which as a member of the Board of Management. He also serves as Managing Director of the venture capital company, a subsidiary of the bank.
Vera Hirlinger and Andreas Hummel become deputy board membersVera Hirlinger and Andreas Hummel will join the management team as deputy members of the Executive Board in July. Their promotion is intended to increase the number of representatives behind the reduced Executive Board. Andreas Hummel will become Joachim Deichmann's additional deputy, while Vera Hirlinger will represent Martin Bosch.
Hummel has been with Kreissparkasse Reutlingen for 25 years and has been responsible for the Credit Management/Legal Department since 2024. Previously, he headed the Risk Controlling Department for ten years and subsequently served as Head of the Operations Representatives.
Hirlinger has been Head of the Metzingen Regional Directorate for Corporate Customers and Construction Financing since 2022. She has also been Head of the Real Estate Department since 2024. She joined Kreissparkasse Reutlingen in 2015 as a trainee in commercial lending.
As part of the reorganization of the board of directors, Hirlinger will be responsible for private banking, among other things, as a spokesperson for Kreissparkasse Reutlingen told the editorial team in response to a request.
She will assume this role together with department head Oliver Gühring. The private banking team consists of 15 private banking advisors and four assistants.
