AI tool for wealth management: Former fund deposit bank boss joins wealthtech Flanks

Sebastian Henrichs has been Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the wealthtech company Flanks since August. In this position, the former head of Fondsdepot Bank and FNZ Bank will drive Flanks' growth in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Flanks was founded in Barcelona in 2019. The company develops an AI-powered tool called "Flanks Lume" that provides wealthy clients and their advisors with an overview of their assets. "Wealth management in the DACH region is sitting on an untapped data mine. Family offices track assets at over 20 custodian banks but lack a unified view," explains Henrichs.
In the platform business since 2012Henrichs most recently served as Senior Advisor at the European fund platform Allfunds, which manages over €1.5 trillion in assets. He left the FNZ Group at the end of 2023. There, he served as Chairman of the Management Board of Fondsdepot Bank and CEO of FNZ Bank. He initiated the merger of the two fund platforms, which was completed at the end of 2024.
Henrichs began his career at the consulting firm Deloitte. He then worked at the technology service provider Xchanging and at Axa Bank. In 2012, he moved to Fondsdepot Bank, where he became CEO in mid-2018. At the beginning of 2023, he also took over as CEO of FNZ Bank .
