(dpa) A new video featuring Beyoncé has fueled speculation among fans about her next album. In the video, which the entertainment company Parkwood published on Instagram and in which a jeans company is involved, the singer appears in various outfits.

She's seen on a horse, for example, and eventually rides off on a motorcycle. The motorcycle part in particular led fans to speculate that the next Beyoncé album might contain rock music.

Beyoncé is currently working on a trilogy. The first album, "Renaissance," was released in 2022, inspired by disco and dance music. The second album, "Cowboy Carter," released in 2024, featured country music influences. Beyoncé has not yet announced any details about the planned third album.

As her spokeswoman confirmed to the German Press Agency, she has now died shortly before her 80th birthday after a long illness. According to the report, she died on Sunday (August 3) in a Los Angeles hospital. Anderson would have turned 80 on Tuesday.

The actress was known to a wider audience for her role as the smart radio station receptionist in the sitcom "WKRP in Cincinnati," which ran from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. For this role, she was nominated twice for an Emmy and three times for a Golden Globe.

In 1980, she starred with Arnold Schwarzenegger in "The Jayne Mansfield Story." Anderson was also known to some as the ex-wife of Hollywood legend Burt Reynolds—the couple's marriage ended in a bitter legal battle over child support for their adopted son.
