Traffic: Additional work: Closure on A44 delays completion of construction

The A44 near Kassel will once again be completely closed eastbound. From Thursday evening (30th) at 8:00 p.m. until Friday morning at 5:00 a.m., the Autobahn GmbH announced, due to additional work on the decking.

Traffic will be diverted from the Kassel-West interchange via the A49 to the Kassel-Mitte interchange. This will delay the planned sealing of the roadway slab.

The partial closure of the Bergshausen Bridge is expected to remain in place until November 11. Rain could cause further delays, it was reported. Drivers should allow extra travel time.
