TikTok: Chinese platform plans growth in Japan and Europe

The TikTok Shop has been available to users in France and Germany since March. It was also launched in Italy last week, expanding TikTok's reach in Europe.

In the US , however, the future of the social media platform remains uncertain. US PresidentDonald Trump (78) told reporters at the White House ten days ago that he would postpone the planned agreement on the sale of TikTok in the country until the trade issue with China was resolved.
