Fitness studios: Many more Germans keep fit

Among the larger chains is Fitness First , which is also experiencing an upswing. The LifeFit Group, to which Fitness First belongs, is also focusing on acquisitions. In 2023, there were 121 clubs in Germany, in 2024, already 164, and by the end of this year, there are plans to reach 198. The FitX chain had 109 studios in Germany at the end of 2024, four more than a year earlier.
