Berlin-Neukölln: Dead baby found on the side of the road

A dead baby has been found in Neukölln . A police spokeswoman explained that the infant was discovered on Sunday. According to the public prosecutor's office, a police officer found the body around 5 a.m. on his way to work in the Gropiusstadt district.

Investigators cordoned off the site where the baby was found on the sidewalk of Kölner Damm and attempted to secure evidence. Further details about the location where the baby was found are currently unknown; it is believed to be a park. It is also currently unclear whether the dead baby is a boy or a girl.
